amelia l : Hi there. i would like to know how others have found using this monopod and how long it has lasted them? I shake badly and that messes with my focus so i need something that will be an extension of myself at all times, TaNATHAN P : I have had mine since 2007 or 2008.. Can't remember, I have used it for over 250 events. Now it doesn't work 100% any more(The monopod just slides down at certain stages) but it still does the job of keeping it steady when placed on the ground.AL B : I think you might have a problem with that. Good Stability for Amateurs

My daughter is just getting into photography and she has had difficulty eliminating camera "shake" when snapping the picture with her point and shoot camera. This lightweight monopod eliminates the problem entirely. It is a very inexpensive solution. I have used it with my Canon G-12 and my Leica d-lux3, and it works very well. Naturally, this monopod was not designed to work with my heavy DSLR system, but it is an excellent buy for use with point and shoots.
