Just wanna give give a shout out to the company on there optics and customer service. I recently had a busted scope and contacted Vortex about it the customer service was excellent and walked me through the process and had me print out a postage paid return label. I shipped it out the next day and the very next week there was a replacement setting at my door free of charge. I have dealt with many companies on returns and no of them has been as painless and hassle free as this transaction. Vortex optics are crisp and clear from there top line down to the very bottom you can't go wrong with any of there optics. Thanks Vortex team you have a customer for life.

I have been shooting this on a Ruger Precision Rimfire (22MAG) for two years. It is the brightest scope I own and I also own a Nikon and a Vortex Diamondback. The 50 MM ocular is amazing. So clear and bright it always amazes me. Only complaint is that the turrets are not tactical. Very soft feel. Other than that, it is great!

This is a nice scope but what I'm disappointed about the constant debris inside the lens. A week into buying this scope I mounted it on my AR10 and took it to the range. I fired less that 15rds to zero it in and then put it away and brought it home. A few days later I took the rifle out to clean it and saw some debris while looking through the scope. I thought it was just some debris on the outside lens and I tried to blow it and wipe it off to only realize it's internal. I called customer service for a warranty, sent my current one in, and got a new one in a 2 weeks turnaround time. Their finding said that I over tighten the scope causing damage to the body. So before remounting the new scope I bought a torque screw driver to make sure I didn't over tighten this one. I mounted up the scope to only 13-15 in lbs (recommended 15-18in lbs) because I was afraid of over tightening it again. I took it to the range again and fired 20rds to re-zero the rifle again and everything went well. Then tonight, 3 weeks later as I'm getting things ready for Deer rifle season this weekend. I look through the scope and again I see debris inside, it's not as much at the first time but it's there. I'm pretty disappointed in my first vortex optic purchase, I'm not sure if I'll buy another one but if I do it'll only be because of the great warranty they offer.

The Vortex Optics 3 - 9 x 50 mm Crossfire II Riflescope has low profile turrets, that are less susceptible to accidental impact damage and reset turrets, that allow re-indexing of the turret housing to zero after sighting in the riflescope - generally requires use of a coin or wrench.
The Dead-Hold BDC reticle helps eliminate guesswork on hold-over and windage corrections. It is good for hunting/shooting at varying ranges where estimating hold-over is a concern.
The solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction of the Crossfire riflescope is outstanding in strength, rugged and shockproof. Neutral pressure nitrogen purging guarantees waterproofing and fog--proofing that withstands the elements at any elevation.
