Crossfire II 4-12x40 AO
I was looking for an optic to put on a 17 Mach 2 and this scope for the bill. The adjustable objective is perfectly suited for a rimfire as well as the 4-12 magnification range. So far I have been impressed with the clarity and light gathering of this scope at this price point.

Crossfire ll 4-12x40 ao w/ dead hold BDC
This scope has became my 3-9 replacements as I'm let's say aging and my eyesight is going with it. This little change has really made a considerable difference for me. With Vortex quality across platforms and reticles was really no big deal to start to swap out 3-9's. The dead held BDC Dead hold for me is by far the best reticle choice for me. I have even changed to prism red dots for the same reticle.

Added this glass to a tikka 270. Clarity is amazing for the price. Even when at max zoom looks crystal clear. Holds reticle after 200 rounds at the range. Just an amazing product. Not to mention the VIP warrant. That aOne is worth its weight in gold. Excellent choice for beginner to intermediate shooters. Tough and durable for sure

Great for a hunting rifle
Had this on a 22LR for a while and it works great for squirrels since you can adjust the parallax. Liked it so much that I bought another to go on a future 308 deer rifle build.

It's a budget scope
This is the scope for the middle class. It does carry the Vortex warranty. I put it on a Ruger 10/22 to shoot at 25m. The AO is nice, but the scope is big. I wanted the AO and had to take 4-12 magnification. I've set it at 6x and will likely never change it. The turrets are well marked, and easy to adjust. Although a little soft on the clicks and with stacking tolerances, it's really non-linear. I wouldn't put it on anything other than a 22 range rifle

Good scope
Its a good scope. Not the best glass there is but its not bad, for the price it works well. Its a large scope and kind of heavy for the plinking 22 for my boys to learn on. I'd like to have a throw lever for it but other than that its solid mounts. I used different mounts than the ones provided but the ones they provided aren't bad.
4-12X is great and gives some options for my 22 lr Ruger precision rimfire.

Great for the price
This is a great scope for my 10/22. It is obviously not as nice as some of my other more expensive glass, but it has a great reticle, clear glass, and does what it is supposed to. The turret clicks can be tough to feel if you aren't paying close attention. Overall no complaints.

Her First Rifle and Scope
I picked up this new 6.5with the Crossfire on it. It's a good scope. It has the ability to get out to 600 yards.
It is a SFP scope for normal <300 yard ranges it is an excellent scope.
It served her well in 2021 for her first ever deer hunt.

Decent scope for the money.
Living in the UK and working as a gamekeeper I needed something that I could use with my night vision add on (PARD) on my 243win on a budget. Reading the reviews I was swayed to go for this model.
Turrets were my only gripe, Mushy and not easily defined between clicks.
Overall performance -7/10

Awesome Performance
I purchased this scope to put on a new springer air rifle. It sat on that rifle for a few weeks and did great. I then sold that air rifle and moved the scope to my new .22 cal PCP air gun. I'm able to make 1st round hits out to 75 yards (max distance at this time) with this combo!
I'm working on a drop chart for my air rifle/scope combo for longer distance but at this time I'm zeroed at 25 yards which is my most common shooting distance (back door to bird feeder) for nuisance vermin... It's minute of dime at 25 yds with CPHP 14.3 pellets. This scope is perfect for this! I will be getting more Vortex scopes in the future!

Good, could be better...
Just got this scope put on a 25-06. It seems to hold zero so far and is pretty decent glass at the lower magnifications. The parallax adjustment seems to be off a bit on the lower yardages and the focus doesn't seem to really do much at all. At higher magnifications it gets foggy and makes it difficult to see anything unless you keep your eye in a perfect spot. Overall not a bad scope but wish it was a little better and clearer for longer ranges.
