Vortex Optics manufactured these riflescope rings from premium 8620 alloy steel. These Vortex riflescope rings are casehardened with a Melonite thermal chemical process to change the composition of the steel. This process gives you a tough, smooth, low-glare, corrosion and scratch-resistant finish.
