Good enough!
Bought this when unemployed one summer with a broken light box. Good enough! I was mostly concerned with sorting through slides to determine which I wanted to send off for professional scanning. I found that looking through the viewer through the window on a typical bright day would give a pretty accurate idea of how photos would look scanned.On the cons side, I live at a latitude where it's dark 16 hours a day during the winter, and I don't have a bulb at home that's white or bright enough to give an accurate idea of how slides will scan[...] like I said, I just use it as a very quick n' dirty intermediate step to sort hundreds of slides into "definitely not worth scanning" and "meh, we'll see."

Great product, small price
This product is great for sorting 35mm slides for digital conversion and photo printing. Uses ambient light so no batteries are needed. [...]
