I use this product with a Nikon D-5100 and its 18-55mm lens. One can expect extreme vignetting at the lowest end of the zoom range. As that equates to about 8mm focal length, this should not be surprising, but produces a near-fisheye effect. The rest of the range produces some bulging of an image, but also produces an acceptable wide image. This would be useful on a trip when you can't step back quite far enough to get the shot you want.
