I prefer Filters to tubes.
There is some vignetting with these on a similar lens I have. If you’re going for having one telephoto lens and the macro filters then this is ok. When I know I will be shooting up close I still use my kit lens with the macro filters for that lens. Same brand, just different size, and I do not get the vignetting.FRANCISCO A : Todd
Both options for macro photography would work well, The mag lens are a little less expensive than buying the extension tubes. Also if you buy non camera branded extension tube, the auto focus might not work properly. I decide to buy the lens to have more flexibility and so far has been great.

Jen WJEFF W : the lenses adapted quite well and we ae plaesed with themCARRIE L : I would suggest that you do not use an adapter, and buy them in the correct size for your camera.
If your camera. Also I prefer the Adorama set to these. They are still good, but I prefer the others I have for a different lens.
The 10 is OK for my lens, but only when I zoom out a lot, if not there is a vignette.

Macro lenses
Great product for the Money. By stacking the lenses you can get pretty terrific macro images of flowers and creatures. I used them with my old Nikon lenses and the results were very acceptable.

Not what I expected
I completely misunderstood what I was purchasing but still love what I got. I thought this would make my lens zoom further. No it turns it into a macro lens. So now I have the ability to use my 35 mm lens as a macro lens allowing me to capture a wider angle. This will be great for summertime macro photography. I can't wait to use it.
