It's fit on filters from at least half a dozen manufacturers with no problems.ALAN H : Depends on how much filter thread protrudes from the outside of the filter. In my experience, this lens cap will fit onto a filter, and will stay on if the camera is resting on a surface. But don't expect it to stay on if the camera is moving about if your filter thread is too small. Deeper threads work fine.

Vivitar 67mm Snap-on Lens

As advertised... it's a snap on lens cap. And Canon doesn't provide them for their glass. This IMHO is miles better than the standard Canon stuff.
