Perfect for any budget, looks a feels great.

I cant even believe this is just 20 bucks! And came with a surprise( it may have been in the description, and i overlooked it) a remote! Amazing! I would like to let anyone purchasing know it does not give option to use actual camera batteries. Only double AA. Other than that, it feels great and has surpassed my expectations. Thanks adorama!

Nope!

It worked intermittently and I missed a number if shots due tofact that the power would shut off by itself. I returned it promptly.

Well built and reliable

I plan to buy first the Phottix one but was bacl order. After reading good reviews on the Vivitar, I choose to buy it. Very nice construction and feel strong and confortable. When you buy a off brand battery grip, you have to check if it have metal gear on the screw mecanism to fix the grip on the body. I bought one with plastic gear in the past and broken when was time to remove it.

Extra grip - great price point

A good quick fix for a grip but feels some what plastic like. Not a fan of the seam running through the grip body. Somewhat hollow sounding which give it a cheaper feel also. Also noticed that when adding the batteries or removing them, its not a fluid as my previous Canon grips. Its the attention to details that may make or break what grip someone buys. But...if cash is tight, need a grip, then this is right! I am a poet and didn't even know it!

The Vivitar Deluxe Power Grip provides the power you need for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II SLR digital camera. It adds to the power by using 2 LP-E6 rechargeable, high-capacity batteries, or use 6 AA batteries. In addition, the battery pack provides a vertical shutter release, that makes holding the camera in the vertical orientation as easy and secure as in the horizontal position.
