I plugged mine into a DVD player. The wire already broke in less than a year. It does not work anymore.PHILIP H : Yes, you can connect to Apple products or anything with a mini USB out put, like a Droid or camera. It only displays active video from the device, it's not like a 2nd monitor. The resolution quality is not as good as the device, for example subtitles are hard to read. The battery lasts about as long as a movie. That all said, I still love it! You can lay or sit with your head in any position while you watch. Only inputs my glasses have are the red white yellow RCA plugs (analog) and an iPhone plug to glasses cable. HAZEL S : No, it only has the red, white & yellow components.
Shopper : can this device be connected to an apple computer or a windows computer to play any movies?PAUL D : Sorry. not directly. You can, however, use an adapter which you can get for very little money from ebay. It adapts from rca to vga. You will also need a 3.5mm to rca adapter for the sound. I have not found an adapter which goes from HDMI to RCA but I imagine someone makes one. Good luck. PS. the wrap 310xl's are awsome. I use them to monitor a camera on a remote helicopter.JODIE S : It is my understanding that the 310XL cannot hook up to your computers but it will work on most other devices. (although i will still try. I just didn't have a VGA to RCA male cable to try it.)You will need to upgrade to the 920AR or Tac-Eye LT for computer use. Vuzix site has a list of compatible devicesHUSSIEN K : yes you can use it, BUT you need to get an VGA to AV adapter...This external device is not included in the set However, you can search about it and get this adapterDOMUNIQUE P : It has at least an iphone/ipad/itouch adapter and the red/white/yellow plug adapter. I thought I read somewhere that a monitor adapter was only available on certain models, but not sure about that.

Not What I Expected

My expectations seemed to run a little high for this product. I guess I'm looking for something not yet released. But really, it's like holding an iPhone a few inches from your face. Nothing fantastic about that. Except the iPhone displays in HD...
