No batteries, no open.ARISTOTLE V : The stylus does not have batteries. Check your drivers.MICHELLE W : There's nothing to charge... There's no battery in the stylus. Per Wacom's FAQ: Does the Bamboo Stylus work with a battery? No, it uses the same technology that enables touch in capacitive touch devices. ----- If you're having problems, you might need to change the nib, or there might be something else wrong with it that might require technical support via Wacom. If its not responding well its dying or you need to change the tip. If changing the tip doesn't do it then you need another stylus. Be sure to get the exact one you have or it won't work

Great starter

I purchased this tablet hoping for a lightweight, small, responsive option to learn with. I've been very pleased so far! The tablet fits easily in my laptop bag and has performed better than I hoped! I will definitley consider purchasing a Wacom again when I'm ready to swim in the deep end!
