The first tablet I got died a peaceful death about 5 minutes after I plugged it in. After a few messages back and forth, Adorama decided to send me another one. Looks new, does the job perfectly, great buy. It is reassuring to know that Adorama has a no questions asked policy when you have problems and need to return a defective product.

This is my first tablet and I expected there will be a learning curve and at least a week to get comfortable with it. Installing drivers was a bit tricky but once I figured it out, I was able to start comfirtably using it right away.

Refurbished item indistinguishable from new! Tablet is primarily used for Photoshop retouching. I was concerned that the small version would not provide enough working room, but it is fine. The bundled software was kind of a cool bonus, letting me try my hand manga and other illustrations.

I use with Photoshop CS 6 I like the finger control and ability to flip screen to any angle. Depending on the browser, finger tap sensitivity can vary.

I was researching tablets for editing photos when Adorama offered this tablet at an unbelievable price. I use the tablet as designed: for editing photos in Lightroom. MUCH better than an ordinary mouse. Tablet arrived in factory seal package. Easy to set up and easy to use. The small version is more than enough space.

This makes my 4th Wacom tablet purchase. They just keep getting better and better. I've never had an issue with any of them. I passed down my first two (which were still working perfectly) when I upgraded a couple of years ago to an Intuos 4 medium. That one will remain my tablet for my desktop computer. This new Intuos5 touch will belong with my laptop now. I've been needing to do more and more photo editing on my laptop while I'm out and the medium sized tablet is just about as large as my laptop. While that is wonderful in my office, it is not so great for portability. The small Intuos5 touch fits nicely in my bag with the laptop and is much more manageable. The work surface is huge compaired to my first two tablets. I was hesitant in purchasing a refurb product, but with Adaroma's great return policy and Wacom giving a full year warranty, I would be nut's not to give it a go. The tablet is in flawless condition! Every pen nib accounted for. It works perfectly and I couldn't be happier! The savings were amazing since it was a referb. I couldn't be happier.

I noticed the Wacom Intuos5 refurbished tablets when shopping for a new tablet and for the price savings I decided to give one a try. It came in a sealed Wacom retail box just like a new one would and I can't see anything cosmetically that indicates it was once used. Looks and functions like new. The driver CD was a couple versions old but that is typical even of new products. Wacom makes it easy to find the most recent drivers on their web site. Great deal!

This tablet, Wacom Intuos5, is a time saver for photographers and retouchers. I imagine it'll be a must for illustrators. Best of all, my wrist doesn't hurt any more due to carpal tunnel syndrome by using a mouse/trackpad to edit images. It's easy to use and I found it shaved significant time needed on editing. I could've get an entry level model and get the same results. What pushed me to get the Intuos5 was the ability to custom assign hotkey functions by each individual application. The touch function also allows me to use the same trackpad gesture on this tablet. The Intuos5 basically wraps the need of a mouse and trackpad plus most of the keyboard functions into one. I've never used a tablet before and the learning curve for me is about 30 minutes after plug in the tablet fresh out of the box and dive into the configuration panel. It's a plug-and-play for Mac users and the interface is easy to configure. If you're on a Mac, you don't need to install the softwares. The configuration panel could be found under System Preferences. Intuos5's ability to recognize pen-tilt allows me to draw calligraphy with varying texture on Photoshop, illustrator, and similar softwares. Imagine the application this feature could bring for your clients. I might invest in a wireless module, so I could tether my computer to the HD TV and edit images on the comfort of the couch.

I'm a heavy tablet user (full time professional photographer) --and this tablet works great for me. I wish I had more time to learn all the interesting features.... but maybe after the busy season....

Absolutely essential for drawing esp. when doing onion skin animation...i [s called 'small' but is actually 4 X 6.25 inches, perfect for most applications. I can think of no negatives for this item which has a bargain price to boot.

This is a great tablet. Now know, I don't have any experience with tablets, this is my first one. But it is everything I wanted and then more. To be honest I wasn't expecting to like this thing as much as I do. It is great for working in Lightroom and Photoshop, but that is what is is built for. I'm extremely happy with how it works for Safari. Everything on my Mac plays really well with tablets making the experience much more fun. Actually using the tablet is a amazing. I was really surprised with how sensitive it is. I had used sketching programs on my iPad before and always disliked them because when I set my hand down to draw, my palm would always draw something. With the tablet that isn't the case, I can draw just like I am using paper and pencil. There are some quirks to get used to, but that is just because I have only ever used a mouse. Overall I am super happy with my purchase and wish I had bought one sooner.

Work really good. Surprised when I got the small version because it is actually bigger than I thought. Very smooth operation. The touch function is a good feature too.
