Great purchase
Great for system backups. Have lost two hard drives in the past 5 years - never again without full backup!!

Plug it in and it works. It works fast. It has a program installed in the device and with one or two clicks backs up your whole computer. It had 3 times as much memory as both the hard drives on my 3 or 4 year old HP laptop had. I was able to easily transfer everything to this portable harddrive, then plug it in to my new laptop I just bought and transfer all my documents to the new machine. Cool.

Backup For Dummies!
I'm not a Rocket Scientist nor a PC Guru! Just an average Joe!! Very pleased with the simplicity of using this product. Now if something goes wrong with my notebook I have what I need to get back on track!

this is a really great product it is not expensive very easy to install. I use all hp products this is the best and easist product yet thankyou hp.

Afforable Simplicity
This is a great product. Haven't used it for long. But from day one it functioned as you would expect a hard drive to work. It was quickly recognized and added to my available storage sources. I was able to open, search, and transfer files easily. I am an avid HP user, computer is an HP, So not sure if this will behave differently on another computer type. VERY compact in size, I am able to carry this in my purse like a wallet. Comes with a zipper carry case, USB cable, and registration and usage instructions. Unsure if this can be locked with a security password. Definitely a good investment for anyone that needs to travel with their files.
