Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
GEORGE B  I use this with an Adorama AC Socket with Light Stand Adapter & Umbrella Holder and (4) 40w CFL bulbs with a silver umbrella to do simple product shots for myself (not clients!) It's quick and easy to setup and puts out A LOT of light. I chose this Westcott 4 socket adapter because it was exactly what I needed and it has Westcott's name on it! It works like a charm and it's very inexpensive. George ~Bellace Photography
Shopper  What is the maximum wattage and is it small base or medium based?
SHARON W  The sockets are medium based & max 120 volt. I use 4 Eiko 30 watt, 120 volt, 5500 kelvin bulbs that I purchased from Adorama. I absolutely love it! I shoot alot of newborns & young kids & love natural light, but when it is not available I use the florescent 4 bulb adapter in the uLite. I do this so I don't run any risk of burning or overheating the newborn. It has worked great for me.
Shopper  is there a refector to fit over this?
ROBERT G  Hi there, I bought this socket adapter but am not aware of a reflector to go over it. I've used it with four compact fluorescent bulbs and used it with a softbox, also by Westcott. It works fine in that set up...Hope that helps a little...
