I was extremely happy to find the correct bulbs for photography

I was extremely happy to find the correct bulbs for photography, there are other bulbs available, but I don't trust them to be the proper lumens these bulbs give. I trust the westcott name, as well as Adorama the have the proper bulbs!!!

Works for me

I have used the same bulbs for a year and a half. And when I got them, they were with the display set I purchased, so they were already used. They're fine. I'm sure there is something extra special out there, but they are good lights, they lasted for me and yes, they're hot. They're lightbulbs of a very basic sort. They're gonna add some heat. But for general lighting, I'll stick with the [$] bucks a bulb every 18 months. I don't expect them to perform like the $30 photoflex 1000 watt bulbs I use for softboxes because, well, they're not $30 bulbs.

Mega light output

Super light output! Runs a little hot, but that should be expected with this type of light. Do not use in plastic socket. Great for digital photography using a soft box or umbrella.
