Flickers!
I bought these lights to put in the overhead cams in my art studio. They simulate daylight, which is great, but they flicker (pulsate is a better word) if I move the dimmer above the halfway setting. Consequently, this doesn't create enough light for me to paint by. I'm not sure if they would behave the same in a non-dimmer socket, but regardless, they were not the solution I was looking for.

Nice bulb
Nice bulb. Bright enough for the uses (video) I purchased it for and colors look nice. Also nice not having to deal with a lot of heat.
