Perfect Fit

from Los Angeles, CA  -  Semi-Professional

Seems like I am reviewing alot of replacements! Argh, the dilemmas of being a traveling photog. The sales' people at Adorama are top notch, as when I call while driving with a thousand things going on, I can loosely describe the kinda sorta whatever gizmo I need and they completely understand, find it and take really good care of me. This item is just like the original, no complaints. If I could give the sales' staff 6 stars, I would!

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DENNIS J  Much more durable than plastic shoe mounts for flash/umbrella combination.
Farzad K  I am looking for an adaptor that can help mount this cold shoe on top of a monopod. Do you carry something like that or would you be able to point me to a source for that? Thanks
MICHAEL P  You would probably better served just getting a lightweight light stand to move your flash off camera. I would be awkward putting your camera on a tripod, remote firing it in order to mount your flash on a monopod and hold the monopod where you want your flash. I guess I am not sure why you would want to put a flash on a monopod.
Farzad K  Michael, Thank you for the response. I already have a light stand. Sometimes a light stand is not convenient. I wanted to mount my flash on a monopod so I could get someone to hold it for me and point the flash into the right direction while I shoot. It is more convenient that way especially outdoors where in some cases you can't use a stand and positions may be awkward. I have already found the adaptor, mounted on my monopod, and it worked great. Farzad
