In digital era of pre-flash TTL flash metering, how do you get a flash with a PC connection to ignore the pre-flash and fire as slave? Use this Slave. It extends the functionality of many flash units, even those that have a conventional slave switch. Getting the DIP switch positions correct may be a bit arcane, and require trial and error depending on the flash. It is expensive compared to a regular slave trigger, but it does what it's advertised to do.

Many professional Nikon (D100) and Olympus E20N) SLR digital cameras have not one but TWO preflashes to fine tune the on board exposure computer. This will prevent standard slave units from working with these cameras
WEIN products has duplicated the entire line of its popular solid state batteryless slaves in a digital format that can perfectly synchronize with digital preflash cameras
