Works decently well on the tank of my motorcycle. Solid mounts are the way to go....it wobbled front and back with a suction cup mount.

I wouldn't say this is a bad gimbal. Though honestly, the price of this isn't GREAT Any other mobile phone gimbal in the 100-250 range can do what this gimbal does. Add on a go pro plate (and counter weight) and you'll get the stabilization needed. Now if you need something a bit more rugged and compact, something you can put your waterproof/shockproof case on your go pro, then this one is a good choice. The 1-axis gimbal is not going to give you smooth video. especially if there is any forward or vertical movement. Though the company toots this as a 'plus' really it's just the limitation of a 1-axis gimbal. Furthermore, if you search online, you'll see many different gimbals that look the same. Which imitation and copy cats are ok, but for this particular item, it makes me feel that this is just mass produced somewhere and each mom-and-pop company slapping on their own label and re-brand it. so am I glad this is in my bag of tools? yes. Will I buy it again if I lose it? probably, depending on how much i use it. Can this replace a DJI OSMO or FeiyuTech or any other more reputable gimbals out there...... NO, absolutely not.

This gimbal is the only product on the market that allows the GoPro to be mounted in the protective case. From that perspective WenPod have cornered the market and is the single reason I chose this product. However, when the gimbal arrived I charged and calibrated it per the manual then mounted it using RAM 1" rubber ball mounts to my bike and went out for a ride. The gimbal didn't make it through two corners before the target set point had been lost or confused and the gimbal servoed to 90 degress in error. I stopped repeatedly to reset the unit with similar results every time. I returned the unit for an exchange. The exchange process took two weeks and when the replacement arrived I charged it, calibrated it and mounted it in the same manner. Again, the new unit did not make it more than a couple of corners before the target set point had been lost or confused. The unit servoed to 90 degrees in error once more. I tried multiple times to reset it and try again with the same result. This unit evidently has a serious design flaw or is not robust enough for sport use. I will attempt to get a refund this time but I expect the 30 day period to have expired due to the length of the return process. I would certainly not recommend this product for use in anything other than benign conditions and even then can't guarantee good operation.

For the price, you cannot beat this stabilizer. I use it for my motorcycle and filming vacations. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this to use with my GoPro recording street bike rides. Keeps the camera smoothly level as bike leans as I hoped. On very bumpy roads there is a bit more camera shake than a solid mount but otherwise works very well.

Not bad, but when transitioning while slowly being tilted, it does so in small, incremental steps rather than smoothly; giving the video a slightly jerky, stair-step action.
