I bought the digital converter to take to an orphanage in Viet Nam where I am teaching kids photography. It is nothing great but it is certainly adequate for what I am doing. Is very easy to use and works quickly, appears to be well made and solid.

It can take a little fiddling to get the slide centered and it's a little tough to keep the dust and contaminants off the scan area. The pictures can be a little blue looking, but many of the defects are easily correctable and considering that my slides and negatives aren't exactly great quality to begin with, the results are acceptable. It's great that there's a 110 negative cartridge too - not many competitors have this. Overall, not a mind blowing bit of kit, but perfectly acceptable for those old negatives taken with your $15 camera back in the 80's !!

I purchased this product in order to convert, to digital, slides I took in the 80's of my son and daughter running cross country and track in HS. It was easy to operate and very fast. I had around eight hundred to convert and it took roughly around 7 hours and that's counting breaks.
