From an IT perspective
Our graphics/marketing person loves the printer and would recomend. From IT view it has been a great printer. The cost with rebates and trade in allowed us to get approval for purchase. The design is superior in the fact that all components are replacable seperatly, toner, fuser, waste bucket... The only issue is toner is a bit expensive but still worth the value.

As long as long-run color isn't critical ...

An all in all good printer. I wish some kind of finisher was available for it though. Anyway, The printer is awesome for everyday office printing, and light production of average coverage jobs. However, not so hot for heavy coverage prints, the printer seems to get "tired" and as the imaging units wear down throughout the job, copy 1 has drastically different color from copy 2,500, and unfortunately most of our production is very color critical. When the time comes to replace imaging or transfer units, be prepared to spend a good piece of your day uttering some choice expletives, while you balance & adjust the colors. Once adjusted, its a workhorse, but alas, your back to square one with your next imagining unit replacement, On the other hand, we grossly underestimated our printing volume, and should have sprang for a DocuColor as we consistently shatter the recommended monthly volume by at least double or more.

We basically use the Phaser 7500 printer for proofing purposes at our commercial printing business. The quality is good enough to actually fulfill some print orders if needed in a pinch. We are very happy with our purchase.
We are very happy with this purchase, the 7500 is a great performer. Fast, quality prints, we love it.
This is an excellent printer. Very crisp and clean printing images, and a real powerhouse that can keep up with constant use. Minimal problems and easy to maintain.
After try different brands I really love the quality of this printer. I also like that I can print in heavy papers and large formats and banners. I really recommend this printer. I love it!!
This printer must have spent time in a Sedona Vortex, because it is so magical.
We had a tech here three times to try to fix the skewing but he came to the conclusion that it was a software issue. When I tried to get a software tech out, they just kept telling me it was a hardware issue. I finally gave up on trying to get it fixed.
I am a graphic designer producing books and annual reports. The xerox 7500 produces perfect quality proofs for client review.
Overall we have been pleased with this machine. It is rather expensive for consumables, but most printers are.
In the begining there was a standard printer then there came along the Phaser 7500 which delivers performance, speed , and a very good quality of print. After the learning cruve of a week, we have a better understanding of how this printer works. We have four (4) of this printers here at our plant and plan to order more. Thanks Xerox.
The Phaser 7500 is worth the price. When I have purchased printers over the years I almost always regret my choice, but not this time. This printer is not perfect, but it gets the job done with speed and good quality. I've compared printouts from the 7500 and 7760 under a microscope and the 7760 does look better, but to the naked eye the difference doesn't seem as great. Considering the price as compared to the 7760, I am very happy with the 7500.
