About Yamaha MG124CX/MSR250

The Yamaha MG124 CX is a versatile compact audio mixer designed for both project studio and live sound applications. The mixer features 12 total input channels with 1/4" TRS phone inputs on all channels and six XLR microphone inputs. Channels 1 through 4 are mono while 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12 feature stereo paired 1/4" TRS phone inputs for connecting stereo devices such as keyboards, recorders etc. An internal effects processor provides up to 16 user selectable presets including reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, distortion and more. In addition, a built-in compressor is available on all mono channels for vocals, instruments, etc.

The MG124 CX provides plenty of routing possibilities with 1/4" TRS inserts on all mono channels. Inserts send signal to external signal processors and effects and allow the signal to be returned to the original channel. The stereo outputs can be grouped with the provided stereo group bus for a total of 4 output buses. Three-band EQ sections provide high pass filter and sweepable mid-range. All microphone inputs are capable of providing +48V phantom power. The MG124 CX is a suitable solution for project recording studios, video editing facilities and live sound reinforcement.

The MSR250 Loudspeaker from Yamaha features a unique cabinet geometry that eliminates standing waves within the cabinet. The unit also features acoustic insulation to deaden the space within the enclosure. It includes an advanced ferrofluid in the voice coil gap that conducts heat away from the voice coil. The conduction thereby reduces heat within the speaker and allows for more natural frequency response and dynamics, as well as stable performance under heavy use.
br>This unit features a class D amplifier that delivers 250W of power via a 10" cone woofer and 1" titanium-dome compression driver. It also includes a 2.5" aluminum coil. It offers frequency response from 55Hz to 20kHz. Dual input channels allow you to link to other systems and audio devices, or expand your system. The speaker also includes a pole-mount receptacle, allowing for multiple installation possibilities.
