The product was well beyond expectations and I couldn't be happier. The person (I can't really say he was a gentleman) really needs to get another job...preferably one that doesn't require contact with people.

Was Very pleased with the Yongnuo YN500EX Flash. My internal flash stopped charging and it was time to replace the camera. Did some checking and the cannon external flash compared the the YN500EX ,well they look like twins, but the cost was far less for the YN500EX and matches up perfectly. Would recommend this as alternative to the cannon product and save your Money.My Cannon camera still has life.

This flash seems to work just as well as a Canon flash. How long it lasts time will tell.

This was my first speedlight and as a beginner/hobbyist I like the simplicity, ease of use as well as the scale ability of this this speedlight. Once I get more proficient with the use of flash, the YN500 would allow the ability to have various group setup capabilities as well as allowing me to use my Miops NT since it has a PC sync port. I would recommend this product for those looking for their first speedlight.
