The lens is coupled to the camera rangefinder and the optional 18 mm viewfinder is available for accurate image composition. Combined with a digital rangefinder camera with a 1.3 crop factor, the lens has an effective focal length of 23 mm.

Better than Leica?

from Christchurch New Zealand  -  Pro Photographer

Works beautifully on my M9. There's a slight colour shift problem but it is only slight when you tell the camera it's a 16/18/21 @ 18mm. I avoided buying the sweet but costly external viewfinder by shooting and reviewing the image on the backscreen and recomposing if necessary. I have noticed slight magenta fringing on contrasty details at the egdes of the frame from this lens but overall this is a great tool and for the money it's a bargain.
