Holy

So sharp so fast, yea there is some chromatic aberration when shooting at faster apertures, but the build quality and focus control make up for it.

Excellent lens

ZEISS has a reputation for its glass and lives up to it Excellent glass and construction Only downfall in the lens package is the different front sizes Must use step ups to use same filters

Zeiss lens are superb

I love Canon L lenses but for lens under 100mm Zeiss is my choice. Manuel focus on my 5Diii is fast and accurate, focus confirmation works very good with the 5D iii. Colors, contrast and sharpness are excellent straight out of camera. Build quality is as good as it gets I also have a Zeiss 50mm macro but find it not as great for macro and a bit difficult to focus in low light, otherwise it too makes great photos

Legendary

Excellent lens but not without its draw backs. It very big and like the contax predecessor can be a challenge to focus accurately. That said, the results are worth getting used to manual focus. Simply stunning.

This moderate wide-angle lens is as bright as the Planar T* 1,4/50 and T* 1,4/85 thus perfectly complementing this product range. Thanks to the excellent "bokeh" in the out-of-focus areas, it opens up new possibilities in background design. Precise focusing mechanics featuring a wide rotational angle allow you to work accurately with different levels of sharpness to create an individual atmosphere. Whether reportage, portrait or landscape photography the new Distagon T* 1,4/35 is a master of artistic expression.
