Great product

Doesn't work well from behind the camera. You need to be in site of the sensor

Very good remote control

I use this remote control for self portrait (or family portrait) or when I must use a low shutter speed on a tripod.

Save your money

The idea and the size of the R4N is a good one, but it just doesn't make the grade in performance. I was initially impressed by the size of the receiver and the fact that it can be attached to the camera and left on without dangling or being large and bulky. Also it doesn't require the "hot shoe" to hold it in place. When it works it works pretty well, but the idiosyncrasies are too many for me to be able to understand. When in auto-focus, it often seems not able to find the focus. When it does it fires quite well, but not consistently. Press after press of the release may produce nothing then finally it fires. The range is not the problem as I have never tried using it from more that a few feet. When using bracketing it will fire the called for number of shots, but then it locks up the camera so that nothing works. I have found that pressing the release again will activate the display screen and then the other functions work again. I did not understand all of its functions and thought leaving it in the locked position was a good practice to keep the sender from firing while in my bag. Wrong! That turned out to be the "bulb" setting and drained the battery in a short time. Battery life seems pretty good from my limited usage. I will continue to look for this compact of a device for remote usage, but will hope for a more consistent and reliable sender/receiver.

The Zigview Twin1 R4N IR Remote Controller has a long operation range of up to 100 meters. Battery is not necessary for this receiver operation. The bright white LED can be also used as flashlight. It supports both wireless and wire shutter release.

What's in the box:
