O.K. So you wanted to upgrade from 35mm to Medium format. You started looking at Mamiyas, Rolleis, and, Hasselblads and realized that you didn't want to spend several thousand dollars on a Medium Format Camera system. The Seagull is a good way to get access to Medium format photography at a good price. The positive: It makes good negatives and is very inexpensive. Its built pretty well. The negatives: Its not upgradeable, it has a fixed lense and I would recommend a cable release and a tripod, along with a light meter. Its also kind of bulky. All in al, I'm very happy with it given the price.

Seagull 4A-105 and 4A-107 cameras are 120 twin lens reflex cameras. Their constructions, external forms and use are basicly the same. With the newly developed top cover, it is easier to close or open the waist viewfinder and much better to protect from dust. With the fresnel lens in the viewfinder, these cameras can offer a brighter and sharper field of view. The camera is equipped with an accessory - Hot Shoe so that compact flashes are able to be used during picture taking. The construction of the taking lens for both the 4A-105 & 4A-107 cameras is 3 elements in 3 groups.
