Great product that works beautifully!

This stuff just plain works! I use it in all of my camera cases -- and also in our fireproof safe. Hydrosorbent crystals can be reactivated indefinitely for a lifetime of protection.

Needs instructions

This product needs to ship with written instructions. It just comes in a sealed clear plastic packet. Cut the plastic open and drop it in the camera bag. But how do you "recharge" it once the indicator turns pink? Is the container meant to be opened? Don't get me wrong, it's compact and seems to do the job. But even just a slip of paper with some explanation on how to use it would be enormously helpful. Also, please specify the dimensions of the product. It is 4" x 2" x 0.5".

Great product, poor presentation

By

This type of product is a necessity if you store your gear in any kind of air-tight container. Thanks to the internet, it's not hard to find out how to use it, but there are no instructions, specifications, or any other kind of documentation packaged with this product.

Very good for Cameras and Lenses

By

from Araraquara, SP - Brazil  -  Pro Photographer

Easy to use. If it is red-ish, bake it (in the oven) until the marker is dark-blue. Keep that in the same case as your cameras and lenses. Done!

limited use, over-priced

By

If using in a very confined, small, and well-sealed case like those made by Pelican, these quasi-renewable anti-moisture units can be worthwhile...they won't tear or leak like the disposable kind (which are also renewable, but not as easily accomplished), at least in most uses... but the effectiveness of these is greatly limited if your case is frequently opened and exposed to humid air. if these sold as a three pack for [$], that would be one thing...but these are way overpriced. If you are using these for optical or photo gear (lenses, etc.) stored in drawers or file cabinets, etc. then you should spring for the heavier-duty models that renew by plugging into a wall outlet.

Not worth the money.

No instructions on how to remove moisture from the product. What color should tell you when to remove moisture? How do you remove the moisture? I would like some information.
