The cool 3-D animation site can help photographers study camera angles, or make fun self-promotional pieces

Trust us, it is ridiculously simple to use Xtranormal to make short animated videos. If you can type, and drag a mouse, you can be a cinematographer.

Xtranormal.com is a cool 3-D rendering app and hosting site that allows users to make their own animated videos. Honestly, it is a lot easier that it sounds. One of the most challenging things is learning when to type in standard English, and when to go to simple phonetics: Foo Gee for Fuji, in other letters, that is. All in all, it took me about half an hour work time (plus about 10 minutes rendering) to make the above animation touting Adoramapix.com's cool new photo books.

Share links to your own self-promo xtranormal videos in response to this story, and maybe we'll embed some of our favorites in a follow-up article!
