Photo Shack Pro is the perfect iPad companion app for the digital photographer. Organizes photos and videos into albums and libraries without duplicating a single photo on your iPad.

Sortshots

Check out Sort Shots, which uses the power of tags to quickly sort and organize your photos. You can rate your photos (to sort your favourites to the top quickly) and tag multiple photos at once. Tags can be organized into hierarchical categories as well; the default top level categories are People, Places, and Events. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sort-shots-ipad-edition/id365575166?mt=8

iPad

Great information, I was thinking of purchasing an iPad but was spectacle on its use outside of e-mail and browsing the Internet. Enjoyed learning about all of the benefits for an amateur or professional photographer. Thank you for the tips.
