Thank You for the great information you share on this website and your programs. Normally I take fireworks photos from a very up close perspective, this year I chose to shoot from above the valley floor for a different perspective. Here is a link to the image I captured this year: http://vegaskevin.com/LV4th.jpg Photo details: 7 portrait images stitched together, 6 sec at f/9, ISO 200 using a 70-200 zoomed at 200mm. I used a tripod with a pano head and cable release.

Would you recommend noise reduction be used with long exposure shots? These take the same time as the exposure itself, which means you may lose an opportunity for the next firework, but is it worth it?
