Mark, can you show how it is done with using a Nikon SB800 flash with a softbox outdoors etc. and the settings, TTL or Manual?

This article was extremely helpful. I would like to see more of these especially with a Nikon SB800 flash instead of a studio flash. When using the studio flash, what setting was the flash on 1/4 power, 1/2 power ?etc. If I use a nikon off camera flash on manual what setting do I use?

why not use the sekonic light meter to measure the ambient light,it would be more accurate than the camera meter especially when you metered off the green foilage behind your subject?????
