I shoot DX format. Please review some lenses eqaually for us croped sensor folks. Also just adding videos in general for DX and Rebel folks would be nice. [Thanks--that's a great suggestion! -MR]

Lack of objectivity brings this down. The lesson here is about focal lengths but speaker is so "pro-Canon" it detracts. Please, no more "pimping" one brand over another.

I agree with Adrian, sensor size is a major consideration for many shooters. I am committed to the Canon crop sensor and my fav, go anywhere, lens is the f4 24-105 L with IS. I'm not a big wide angle devotee so it works out perfectly. For a second lens, look at the Canon f4 70-200 IS.

I'm assuming these recommendations are for a camera with a full-sized sensor? 24mm is not that wide on a nikon DX
