TED—AdoramaTV

This week Mark Wallace discovered a great iPad application that is called TED. This app has almost 800 video interviews, presentations and discussions, and offers them up in several different ways.

You can browse the latest additions to the collection, look at themes or separate the talks into tags. If you're not exactly sure what to watch, the app has a feature called Inspire Me, which finds a suitable video based on certain criteria. You can choose to see something that's defined as funny, persuasive or jaw-dropping, and pick a video length that suits the amount of time you have spare. You can also save lectures, and download them to your iPad for viewing offline.
