I have a question about my T3i, concerning the ISO. When I adjust the ISO on my T3i, I have the option to move up or down in full stop increments (100, 200, 400, 800, etc). Yet whenever I set the camera to shoot in auto mode, I find ISO values like 500 ISO embedded in the EXIF data. What gives?

Nice overview... Would appreciate a comment on ISO equiv. limits for this camera compared to 60D and 7D. Noise becomes noticeable at ISO 800, 1000, 1600?
