The Ortery Technologies 3D PhotoBench 260 is designed for photography of three-dimensional products and other subjects against a pure white background. It's basically a self-contained 39.4x39.4x37.8-inch light box that sits on a tabletop and has a rotating transparent turntable that subjects are placed on. The camera and light box connect to a computer via USB and supplied software (Windows XP or Vista 7 only) controlls the turntable movement, camera settings, and processing workflow, making it easy to create 3D animations. It can then create animated HTML5, Flash or GIF images.

“The ability to take product shots and animations with a pure white background is going to change everything”
Introducing Ortery Technologies 3D PhotoBench 260. This computer-controlled desktop photography studio integrates a 39.4 x 39.4 x 37.8” light box (featuring a 3D turntable with transparent platform) with a compatible Canon or Nikon digital camera and powerful workflow control software to simplify and automate business photography. With 3D PhotoBench 260, anyone can create professional product shots and 360° animations that feature pure white backgrounds. No experience necessary!
The camera and light box connect to a computer via USB. PhotoBench 260 software controls the studio, turntable movement, camera settings, picture taking and processing workflows. Simply place an item inside, compose using Preview, Dimming and Crop commands in the software. Click Snap and the picture automatically downloads to the computer screen in seconds. Users can annotate, mask, email and batch process images with regards to filename, size, editing, resolution, watermarking and saving.
3D PhotoBench 260 also creates pure white 360-degree animations. With a 33 lbs. load capacity, it can take between 4 and 360 pictures per rotation. Fully automated, 3D PhotoBench 260 can take and stitch 24 pictures in less than 1.5 minutes. Images can be exported as JPG or RAW or automatically stitched in the software to create animated HTML5, Flash and GIF animations.
“The ability to take product shots and animations with a pure white background is going to change everything,” said Sam Shearer, Managing Director, Ortery Technologies, Inc. “Companies selling online can now eliminate tedious background removal from their imaging workflow, saving them tens of thousands of dollars per year.”
