I have several Audio-Technica mikes and have had good results with them.  The attachment has been with a rubber mount onto Sony HD equipment. With a cable to the camera. The idea of using a linked shoe is great, except the plastic shoe on the mike does not mate up with this camera.  Also, how does the audio signal get through a solid plastic shoe?
