Questions & Answers

Shopper : Is there a zipper?ROBERT B : Yes a heavy duty zipper runs the length of the bag inside under the handles. MICHAEL E. H : Yes, from one end, to the other. However, the bag is not very wide, so you have a tight fit.TERRI P : Yes, there is a zipper.PAOLO F : Yes, there is a zipper across the top.DAWN B : Yes, although deep enough we often do not use it.HARRY R : Yes and a sturdy one at that!COLINE M : there is a zipper and it is machine washable hang dry. I live it.ROBERT S : No zipper, but deep enoughWAI M : Yes. Pretty nice and sturdy one. MIRIAM R : Yes. It is very roomy.HAL S : Yes there is, It's a large really nice bag and I would buy it again.JOHN R : Yes, there is a zipper and a shoulder strap.ERNEST H : Below the carrying handleSTAN W : Yes there is. A sturdy one too!JOHN W : Yes, there is a zipper. Bought for my wife to carry camera and flash. She likes it much better than conventional camera bag.SIMON H G : Yes, there is a zipper. I have been very pleased with this bag!BRIAN B : Yes there is a zipper. It seems to be fairly strong. I have had it jam packed before and the zipper held up fine.C G : Yes, there is a large zipper across the top. It works very well.cMISTI M : Yes! I've had it and used it a LOT for over a year. The zipper is sturdy and the bag is made so that if you are carrying it open it works great tooKRISTEN A : Yes! It has some small pockets inside, too, which I wasn't expecting.
Shopper : I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?GEORGE B : First, because it's made of neoprene (keeps my gear safe from the elements). Second, because it was on sale. And last but not least it's a good size ( it can hold my DSLR, Lenses, Digital Audio Recorder, and camcorder).ANNE G : I bought this bag to leave in my car for those quick trips when I only carry my camera. For all day shooting I carry a backpack. This bag is sturdy but not comfortable to carry all day.TERRI P : What attracted me first, was that it was on sale. Second, I was looking for a bag that was large enough to carry my Nikon D800 full frame camera, with an attached 24-120 lense, plus my 50mm lense and some filters. I do have other larger bags that carry more equipment, but wanted one I could toss a few pieces in and go. This bag fits that purpose. The only negatives I've found are, the shoulder strap is not padded, but that seems to be okay, since I'm not carrying a lot of equipment. Also, the zipper doesn't have the ease of closing with one hand. You have to hold the side of the bag with one hand and close the zipper with the other. I do like the bag though, and for the price, it was a good purchase. Hope this helps!MICHAEL E. H : It was on sale for a good price.SIMON H G : Just right for my Canon EOS 7D with 24-105mm lens and its 430EXII Flash plus a few extras. Foam cushioning and durability is a plus. Nice appearance as well!LYNN P : I find this well padded but too bulky for me and have returned it.TOAN L : It's nice but it's bigger than I thought. The color is darker than in picture. The price is very reasonable.WAI M : I have a bag that is too big to carry around regularly, since a lot of the time I only need a few things. This works for me. It is not big, so it won't carry too much gear. This bag holds my Nikon D7000 eith the 24-70mm, a 10-14mm lens, and a n SB700 speed lite. That just about fills it up.KARI K : Price & size. Haven't used it yet outside the house so don't know about usefulness.STAN W : i love the color and how it's sturdy enough to hold ONE camera and their lens. Pretty room. Only complaint is the shoulder bag is a bit long for me (i am short). I like the handle too. I think it will hold up well. I bought it because it was on sale. i'd buy it again without hesitation. good luck.DAWN B : Does not scream camera bag nor too feminine so my husband can carry too. Tired of seeing him put really expensive lenses in his cargo shorts to get banged about. We have other built bags for lunch/bottles and they have held up and washed really well.Higino P : It was inexpensive, didn't look like a camera bag, and I just used it on a trip --- was able to fit a D600 with kit lens + an SB 900 flash unit + a Nikon 16-35 wide angle lens + a Nikon 28-300 lens + smaller odds and ends.MISTI M : Versatility! Also I like to keep my gear close and the huge roller bags are too cumbersome. I'm thinking about getting the smaller one for smaller shoots. It's also very durable. ERNEST H : It holds the photo equipment I travel with, and has easy access to the contents in separate partitions.HAL S : It was on sale and I took a chance. It's well padded and works well for some casual uses, but I use a larger bag when I have to carry a lot of equipment.BRIAN B : I liked the size of it. I wanted to carry a good portion of my gear. It seems pretty durable. I currently have a canon40d, 17-55, 24-105, and 70-200 2.8 lenses in it. It was a tight fit, but I think that is pretty good. It is comfortable to carry.

Love this bag!

I like this bag so much that I bought 2. What impresses me the most is how lightweight it is and how big a capacity it has. It can actually accommodate a Canon 60D DSLR with attached a Canon 400 5.6L lens plus Kenko 1.4 teleconverter. So that gives you an idea how long it is. It weighs half as much as another maker's standard camera bag that can fit the same setup. Also, the 2 dividers you get are very flexible, stay in place, but detach easily (unlike some bags where you have to rip really hard to detach the dividers). The bottom is very sturdy, giving good support and protection for anything inside. The inside pouches are plentiful and convenient. Only thing I don't like is that it has only a 1-way zipper (2-way, with the 2 tangs, would be better).

Excellent for the price

This bag is well-made and carries all my Samsung NX300 equipment, including a Nikon flash and a couple of lenses. The style is great, the colors are nice, and the customizable compartments are a great idea. I really like it and would not hesitate to buy it again.

Exceeded my expectations

This is a good bag for a casual shooter who wants ready access to a couple of lenses. - I love the deep interior side pockets for keeping my three memory cards safe. - The buyer can quickly configure the main compartment to accomodate a variety of equipment. - Maybe not the best choice for shooters wanting to carry long lenses, but I am pretty happy with its ability to port my 6D and 50mm, along with a 100mm, a flash, and an expodisc.

Love this bag!

I have a great, padded bag, but it packs my gear tightly with some gear being stacked and it is a pain to get to my lenses. At this price, the Built Cargo bag is perfect for my needs. I can carry all my gear, quickly change lenses and still have an empty spot or two for my billfold and my phone. I'm very happy with my purchase! In fact, I recommended it to a family member who also purchased and is pleased.

Just what I hoped for

This is exactly what I was hoping for, a sturdy carrier that I can quickly fill with my needs for short photo excursions where I will only need my camera, a couple of lenses, small flash, spare battery, and a couple of filters.

Too flimsy & awkward to hold

This bag is very awkward to hold, especially with all my extra lenses & flash. I love that it's really big. It definitely holds everything, but it's not very structurally sound. If you're moving it from point A to point B, like a beach shoot, for example, then it's okay. I wouldn't carry this bag around all day. The shape is awkward, and the lack of support/cushioning also makes it flimsy & awkward to carry over your shoulder. It's also a bit of a pain to zip up. The price was great, though. Unless you're getting this bag for a steal, I would look for something else.

Built. Large cargo bag

Space dividers had Velcro on the wrong side to achieve best positioning.

Good for what I need

I bought this because I wanted a bag that would hold my D7000 with 70-200 2.8 lens attached and would not be too bulky to carry on a day trip to the zoo or other places where I planned to use mostly that lens. It also has enough room for another smaller lens, flash, and my wallet and keys. It's not as well padded as my other bags, but I'm not going mountain climbing, so it's fine for what I need.

Nice compact bag with style

Great for photo gigs that don't require all my equipment. Little rommy inside It could use alittle more padding especially at the base of the bag but overall I like and use my bag often...

cute and lightweight

I haven't really taken the bag out loaded with a camera. I think it will be OK with my mirrorless camera and accessories. I don't think it will be solid enough for my DSLR and multiple lenses.
