I like the product very much. Some of the software especially for the mobile apps could be much better.

I am very happy that I decided to get a Brother label printer, and then realised that my Sewing Machine and Fax Machine are all Brother.

Started a business with products that needed labels. Thought I would start with your label maker. I works well and customer service has been great! I believe it is terrific for labeling mailings, household labels, etc. I will soon be ready to move on to a product actually made for making product labels. What Brothers produce would you recommend for labeling products (need for small print for ingredients, etc.. My next label maker will definitely be a Brothers!!

I bought this to help with shipping items from my online store. It was very easy to set up and it's very easy to use. The labels look very professional.

The loaded label cartridges makes it easy to load. The software for label creation is also easy to use. The only problem is when a label gets stuck in the feeder, it is hard to fix.

This printer is a replacement for a QL500 that I have had for several years and still working. This one added remote printing and auto cut. It was easy to set up and connect to the internet. I was also able to use my labels that had been set up on my other printer. I have had it for just a few months and it is working great.

What's there to say! It's a good network printer. The only con is that none of the Brother's network label printers (I also own QL-1060N has auto sleep function which is weird. All of the all in one's and printers have the auto sleep feature. Why Brother? Are you not able to add a simple function?

I had a QL570 on my network with a print server but through the years found it difficult to keep it online 100%. The QL720NW solved the problem. I am not using the wireless so that my WIFI is clear for other devices and the ethernet cable run is short. I was able to adapt my MS Access applications to print directly to the QL720 quickly and I'm really liking the P-touch software that came with the printer. It even reads Excel and Access databases and prints labels from tables in them. It uses the same label rolls that I had on hand for my QL570. Every office needs this device.

The unit itself works fine however their software is outdated. The latest US Postal bar code they have is POSTNET which has been obsolete for several years. If you are looking to get the Bulk Mail Postal discount for volume mailing then don't buy this unit. It DOES NOT have the Intelligent Mail Barcode which is required for the USPS discount.

This is an excellent little printer. Everything works great. The only problem I had was it doesn't come with the Windows 10 drivers etc. on the DVD.

All I have had is issues and work arounds from the begining. Customer support has been average at best. First there were issues with USB vs wireless. Second the tape itself stinks. It comes off of any non flat surface and I have to use scotch tape to hold it. Especially with plastic. I signed up and tried to use the postage and that is a joke. You don't even support Mac for that. If I could get all my money back on the tape and the hardware I would switch to Dymo in a flash.

We are a small office and just needed something simple to make basic miscellaneous labels. This was a great inexpensive solution to our needs. I would recommend it.

This printer is attractive for its price. Will do many label jobs you may want as an amateur user or for the household. Wi-Fi connection is easy but unnecessary intricate. Its design is well done but a little bit sturdy. But do not expect it will fulfill your needs. The printer can be used only with Brother labels limiting you from expanding or finding a solution for your project. The consumables cost are crazy expensive so be prepared! Do not buy this printer! Consumables are costly and you only can use Brother Brand labels. It won't help you in your needs. Money wasted.

It offers Wi-Fi and network connection though I connected with Ethernet as the representatives mentioned that Ethernet connection would be faster. The label paper comes in different sizes and shapes to print materials as needed and can be purchased from different sources including Amazon.

I've had this label printer for a couple of weeks now and it has met all my needs for labels so far. It was easier to set up than I thought and using it is also very easy. The wireless feature works perfectly, I've got it set up for my PC and iPad. The iPad app does not have as many options as the PC but right now it fits my needs.

Wonderful label printer when I can get it to print. I had it printing but now it is a wireless paper weight. I do want to have it print using 3 different computers (2 macs and 1 windows). I will troubleshoot further but my huge file organization project is taking longer to print labels than to arrange the files. I'm now using my wired QL-500 to do the printing rather than having my laptop next to my filing. Very frustrating. Almost forgot, the disk that came with the printer did not even work with my two macs and I had to download from brother. You would think they could have an updated disk in the box.

I've been a QL-570 user for several years. I wanted a network printer where others on my network could print shipping labels and postage for items sold on Ebay. Recent releases of Java, which is used by Ebay's shipping center, have disabled the printing of shipping labels & postage with thermal printers. This is an effort by Sun Microsystems to prevent hackers getting into your computer through Java. My trusty QL-570 label printer no longer worked printing labels for my Ebay Shipping. I thought it was a great time to upgrade to the QL-720NW. However, this printer didn't work either. After much research, I discovered how to clear Java's cache in their control panel in Windows 7 and print normally with my QL-720NW. What a fast, beautiful job it does in wirelessly printing Ebay shipping labels and postage. I can now place my printer anywhere and print wirelessly from any PC or App on the network. Cool stuff. For sure Brother Label Printer support staff should be aware of this Java workaround to allow thermal printers to work when printing within Ebay's Shipping Center. It's an easy fix to a frustrating problem. Additionally, Brother Support should tell wireless users of their label printers, that the Brother wireless print driver in Windows is listed as "Brother QL-720NW (copy 1)". This may be confusing to HP users who are accustomed to seeing (Network) instead of (Copy 1). I love my Brother QL-720NW label printer.

I purchased a Brother label printer QL-720-NW, with WIFI, to eliminate having to put envelopes into my printer, which always seems to be the wrong way, and to make labels for around the house. I was looking for ease of use, and simple instillation of any software a d would be just plug and play. I must say I have been very disappointed with the product and have found it to make a good paper weight.

I did get it to work on my Wireless Network but not every thing works. When I hit the check media it say's it is not online yet will print. May need to start over. Funny my Wireless laser printer works flawlessly. There seems to be no app for android. Other then this it's pretty cool with a very good array of options. Cost of labels are pretty extreeme

Just purchased the Brother QL-720NW High Speed Label Printer after reading PC Magazine's review. Not disappointed. I especially like the PC Address utility that allows you to select 1, many, or all address labels. I "exported" a "test" label to EXCEL, did all my additional address entries in EXCEL, and then imported the file into the PC Address utility. I then printed three select labels to see if the label printer would "jam". Labels printed without problems.

HAVE HAD THIS MACHINE FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS. INITIAL SET UP WAS A little TRICKY. ONCE DONE HOWEVER, THE UNIT OPERATED FLAWLESSLY. AT ONE POINT IT KEPT TELLING ME I HAD THE WRONG SIZE LABEL LOADED. I SPOKE TO SUPPORT AND THEY HELPED ME CLEAR UP ANY REMAINING ISSUES. BROTHER SUPPORT IS VERY GOOD. I HAVE THE UNIT CONNECTED TO MY MACBOOK PRO VIA A10 PORT HUB AND IT WORKS JUST FINE. I AM GOING TO SET THE UNIT UP TO WORK WIRELESS THROUGH MY APPLE AIRPORT EXTREME. I WOULD RATE THE UNIT 5 STARS WITH REGARD TO OPERATION AND OUTPUT. I THINK THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD BE A LITTLE BIT CLEARER. I WOULD SUGGEST PUTTING ALL OF THE WNDOWS INSTRUCTIONS TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE AND THE MAC INSTRUCTIONS IN ANOTHER. THE P-TOUCH SOFTWARE MANUAL IS INTIMIDATING BUT THOROUGH. FOR THE MOST PART USING THE SOFTWARE IS QUITE INTUITIVE.

I love this little printer, and it will airprint from a desktop or laptop, but I bought it for use with an iPad in a warehousing situation, when barcodes need to be printed on the fly. It is a real set back and disappointment. :( It will print from Brothers own proprietary iPad app, but this is of no use to me.

This is a good label printer for the price that comes with software. Once on the network all the computers can use this printer. It offers Wi-Fi and network connection though I connected with Ethernet as the representatives mentioned that Ethernet connection would be faster. The label paper comes in different sizes and shapes to print materials as needed and can be purchased from different sources including Amazon.
The Brother QL-720NW Professional High Speed Label Printer provides high-speed labeling at up to 93 labels per minute. The 300 x 600 dpi resolution and the durable auto cutter (good for up to 300,000 labels) make it an ideal choice for a heavy use in a fast-paced environment. In addition to traditional labels, you can even print long banners up to 3 feet in length.
As a computer-based label printer, the QL-720NW can be connected to a computer via the included USB cable or to a network using either the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity or an Ethernet cable. The unit also features a serial port. The included software provides step-by-step instructions to creating your own labels, including templates. Also included is software for creating labels from files such as a csv or an Access Database (.mdb). Instead of having to use 1 computer for label printing, allow the other computers on your network to print as well. Additionally, you can print directly from any Apple or Android device by downloading the free Brother iPrint&Label app from the App Store or Marketplace.
In addition to standard labels, the printer comes with software for creating barcodes and postage stamps. Instead of running to the post office to buy stamps, do it at home right on your own desk. Additionally, it allows you to print the exact postage you need. The bar-coding software allows you to generate barcodes in most common formats including UPC codes, postal barcodes, European Article Numbers and ISBN codes.
