JOHN D : I have a Cambridge Amplifier which allows for a USB from it to my Mac Computer. Problem is my computer is located about 26 feet from my Amp, and I have read that usb cables are not good for audio at such a distance. Would your Corning 10 Meter Optical Cable AOC-ACS2CVA010M20 work as an extender? If so, I could simply put a short UCB-A to USB-B (Printer) cable to my Cambridge on the female end of the Corning? Thank you,Adrian C : Mine stopped working after 3 months and I never yanked or get rough with it. It no longer can transmit audio signal. It sounds superb!ROBERT L : Yes that will work. However, first, you should also consider getting a usb reclocker and second, the corning cables only last about a year and then stop working. I bought one corning cable and have had it replaced twice by corning. Corning was quite reasonable about it. Audioquest makes a fairly inexpensive usb reclcoker. I got the wifi one on sale. I solved the corning dyeing problem by switching to roon and using ethernet to cover the 25 ft (that is much more expensive then the corning cable).Matthew S : I went through two of these. Had them each work for a couple weeks with my Fireface UFX+ before they stopped working. I gave up and ended up moving the interface closer to my computer room. Corning support was not helpful. Would not recommend.
