comfortable but mediocre noise cancellation

These headphones seem well built and are very adjustable - comfortable even when wearing eyeglasses/sunglasses. Sound quality is adequate and (surprisingly) better with NC turned on. I purchased these mainly to use while mowing the lawn and was disappointed that ambient gas mower noise suppression was no better than that from my 10 year old headphones. I have not used these in other situations (such as flying) yet, so cannot comment on these other common uses.
