I purchased this machine over a year ago and it's been a absolute joy. My system came with a 1TB hard drive and i purchased a solid state m.2 500GB drive and installed it myself very easily. With 24GB of RAM everything is lightning fast and this computer just blazes through even the toughest memory using software. The temperature always remains well below the average I have experienced with my previous Dell so this also is a huge advantage. The charging USB slots on top are great for our cellphones and love the amazing graphics card. I can game to the extreme with this machine and I love that pretty much everything in it can be upgraded. I've not had a single problem with my system since I made my purchase and would highly suggest this model as a terrific gaming buisness or home desktop. That's the great thing about it; it can do it all. It's suitable for anything and has the ability to grow with you when or if you want it to.

I bought this PC in February so I could make video games and it's amazing. The model I got was a GT 730 i7 quad core and with a simple upgrade with the gpu it ran video games at the max. It's really smooth and fast and I love it. 1TB Hard drive and 16GB of ram. It really is top of th line and worth the money.

I bought mine about 8 months ago . It has really been the best one I have ever owned . Walks through the toughest of games like a breeze no dragging down or delays just streams right through them. Love the graphics like you are right there.

My xps 8600 was a very good machine with its core i-5 processor. I upgraded to an xps 8900 just because I wanted a faster machine. My xps8600 has 24gb memory My xps8900 has 32gb and it is extremely fast.

I bought an XPS back in the late 90's/early 2000s with Windows 7. I upgraded it once and now it's going to my grandson. I bought an XPS 8900 because I figured it would last a long time. I like it just as well. I consider them reliable.

This Desktop is excellent for extensive gaming and by definition, any computer or work application, no matter what it is. I can run The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Ultra/Max graphics settings with 25-40 fps and Grand Theft Auto V on Normal (Low) graphics settings with 20-30 fps as a benchmark for intensive gaming. The computer hums like normal (very quiet) and everything can be done without worrying about processing power. For reference, GTA V requires 65-75 GB of drive space and can be downloaded in 2.5-3.5 hours (1 TB Drive C). Get this computer if you want the Hulk of Desktop Computers. It is worth it!

After the first week of using my Dell 8900, I am completely satisfied. Over the past two years I've moved away from using Macs and enjoy Windows 10. While the upgrading of the OS can be a little weird sometimes, I otherwise find it to be just as reliable as the Mac OS.

Recently replaqced my old Vista loaded Dell. The amazing thing is, I used the old Dell from the time period when Vista first hit the market until a few days ago. Since I'd had a great experience with my old Dell, I decided to find a simialrly equiped but upgraded new Dell. The XPS 8900 is just plain SUPER. Easy to set up, Windows 10 in pretty intuitive and I was up and going in no time. The speed and ease of use is just undeniable. As you no doubt can tell, I like my Dell.

I've had this XPS8900 for a couple of weeks and haven't had issues so far. Changing some of the power and sleep settings has avoided the "mouse not waking up without un/replugging the usb" issues that have been present on Dells with all windows versions since XP (it's a windows issue). No boot issues, though it has hung on restart a couple of times after software/patch installs. I'm happy until something bad happens. I've used and owned Dell desktops and laptops since the early 1990's and never had issues except for failed hard drives, but that is expected.

I haven't had my Dell long enough to give a top rating of it but it is my second Dell computer. The machine is fast and so far I haven't had any problems learning its setup and navigation. I hope this will last me as for a long time and with their excellent support, it should give me years of enjoyment and productivity.

The system support by DELL is great. I downloaded the manual so I could add memory to the system. It showed in great detail the steps to perform any task.

I'm 69 yrs old and this is my only new computer in 10 yrs. Transitting from my old computer running Windows Vista to this new one using Windows 10 took me a little time to get use to. And my old one came with Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. Now I have to purchased it. Other than that, my new Dell is a very good computer and should last me for a good period of time.

Had a Dell XPS previously. Got a good amount of years out of it. When it came time to buy a new system, the Dell was the best deal in terms of computing power and price. I like the diagnostics that Dell does. It allows me to keep tabs on when something needs attention. The diagnostics check memory, processor, monitor, video card, BIOS, etc. Updates are seamless. Making a call to tech support is easy too, although I never actually had to do it for my last computer, but you can see that it is just a click away. Plenty of USB slots. 2 TB HD, 16GB ram, Win 10 Pro, 4 GB video card. Hard to find all of this on one system for under $1,000 dollars. Got mine at Costco and even adding in a new monitor (24') only the sales tax put the total above a thousand.

I have found this computer to be a great computer for gaming and day to day things. The only problem I have had is windows 10, if i could of had windows 7 i think it would be better. Windows 10 messes with games and some never have played since, which is not good.
