I am using this product with my Pocket Wizard Plus X and my old Vivitar 283 and 285 speedlights. The product works perfectly.

The DLC Hot Shoe to PC Adapter features a locking hot foot, female PC connection and a hot shoe with locking pin receptacle. It is designed to be compatible with speed lights, it will not short the Nikon connection pins and will receive the Nikon locking pin.
