This has been my favorite camera strap for a long time. I can?t remember the last camera body that did not have one attached. Love this style where I can unclip the 1? strap section and clip the camera to safety lines.

Been a Domke product user since I was a photojournalism student in the 1970s. Yes! I go back that far. As a photojournalist himself, Jim Domke was among the first to really understand the needs of his profession in a time when products like these were just not avialable. I've worn out I don't know how many Domke bags, even after the operation was sold to...who? The strap is just the right thing for my modest DSLR needs. Actually, this is a replacement for one I somehow lost working on a brief field video a few months back. Oh well. It's still a good general purpose strap, and I'll try not to lose this one.

These versatile straps have pivoting hooks at both ends of the gripper strap, which do an excellent job of eliminating twists and tangles. I use these straps on all of my cameras (except an ancient Hasselblad).

The swivel hocks are great. It could be perfect if the 1" belt is a bit longer.

To me the Domke gripper strap is the best strap on the market. I have never been a big fan of the strips that come with the cameras. To me they just scream tourist and come steal me. The gripper strap has rubber woven into the strap on one side. This rubber helps the strap stay in place, so that it does not slide off my shoulder for example. On the other side of the strap it is just a cotton weave. So, if it is hot out and the strap is on my neck, I turn the cotton side to rest on my neck. I have used them on my cameras, camera bags, and even on my book bags and duffel bags when I was in college. I have found them to be as durable as anything else on the market, and worth every penny.

I've been using this type of strap for the past 20 + years on all my photographic gear. I hate to advertise the manufacturers camera strap as they stand out like a dinosaur and are too wide for my neck and shoulders. Highly recommend this product and it's a quality made strap.

I wanted a strap that was comfortable and wouldn't get all wound up, so I am pleased so far. The only negative I have is the instructions for attaching the strap to the camera with the leather tabs and rings are a little confusing.

I get one of these for every old used camera I buy/find. It is simple, conspicuous (no logo) and the swivel feature makes it less likely that the strap will be twisted in my back.
