Limited Color/Background Options

The 1/2" labels offer much more variety in printing color and background options. I have some electronic equipment that I need to label. I would like to use white type on a clear background, as the equipment itself is black, but that option is not available in the 1/4" width, which is the maximum width I can use for these labels. It is available in 1/2" width. Why not make it available in 1/4" width as well?
