Bicycle handlebar mounting-rough roads

I was not aware that my camera was recommended to mount only with a ball head. I ordered one and it is quite heavy. I decided to give the 3 POD, B-Series a try since I have had 3 ball heads break when directly mounted on the handlebars. Will mount them in a few days for a maiden voyage.

About Feisol BM-254

Feisol BM-254 Bike Mount is a simple, yet clever design providing the cyclist with the ability to mount a video or stills camera to the handlebars of their bicycle. Bike Mounts fits for handlebar tube with diameter 25.4mm (1"). The Bike Mount includes two mounting screws, one 1/4" screw to fit a small video camera or digicams directly to the mount and 3/8" screw to fit a ball head for larger video camera and camera / lens use.
