TERRY W : i have olympus c5000 point and shoot with an olympus underwater housing. will this filter work and fit? I am also using a sealife digital pro flashANDREW R : Unfortunately without knowing the model number and configuration of your housing it's difficult to provide you with accurate guidance. This filter should fit most ports that accept 55mm filters.
Shopper : Does anyone know if this filter will fit with the Snake River Prototyping flat lens for GoPro Hero 2?HARRY C : It will fit the backscatter flat lense for Gopro hero.ANDREW R : This filter should work with most applications featuring a 55mm threaded filter mount.
G C : is this lens plastic or glass?HARRY C : This Filter is Glass and very well constructed. I used it on my Gopro hero 2 with the flat lense attachment from Backscatter. It screwed onto the threaded portion of the Backscatter flat attachment and works perfect in the 1080P medium width setting.

The Red Filter is used to restore the red color absorbed by the water. In shallow depths, these filters can serve as an attractive alternative to artificial light sources.
