Kevin d : Return policy on this product?ANDREW R : http://www.adorama.com/help/returnPolicy
Kevin d : How will I know if unit will work ear buds?MILORAD N : If you are asking if it could power earbuds or headphones, answer is yes, it will power just fine almost all of them. I have a several headphones in a range 32-100 ohms and they sound great. I do have one set of headphones, that sounds fairly low, though it still sounds louder than from my sansa player or lg phone.JOHN H : The unit works fine with all 3.5 mm ear buds connections. The better quality ear buds the better the sound.
Shopper : Does this have Bluetooth?Rui Z : NoRui Z : NoTHOMAS Y : No it does not. Using Bluetooth would defeat the purpose of playing higher resolution files as it compresses data.Chester U : No BluetoothVictor B : No, this is High-Fidelity Music Player and as such, requires High-Fidelity Headphones or Speakers to fully appreciate quality of the sound it outputs. With Bluetooth you get compressed sound even worse than 320k MP3. For Bluetooth just get any other player or use your phone.DAVID S : no.RAJIV R : No bluetooth. As of 2016, Bluetooth standards and products aren't ready for high-res yet.David S : No.

Powerhouse of a music player

Pretty straightforward. Drag and drop, and sound quality is noticeably fuller than the Fiio X3 (2nd gen). Oh, and dual SD card slots? Count me in.

Nice Sound - Nice Price

I purchased this to upgrade from a Fiio X1. I like that the sound is a little better and allows you to equalize with both headphone out AND line out. It is larger and clunkier than the X1, but not that big of a deal.

A perfect replacement for IPODS

For one, this thing is flat out amazing. It sounds better than any player ive used (better than IPOD for sure) Im a contractor and listen to music while i work many hours and this thing keeps up all day. No skips because no hard drive, it uses flash memory and the X5 holds 2 x 128 GB (256 GB total) so it holds my entire music library(221 GB huge) and cover art. Simple drag and drop files. It formats its own drives to FAT 32 so no additional software needed. Ive read some comments about it being slow but i have yet to see that issue. Works as good as any IPOD but sounds way better. And the DAP function sounds to good to be true. Plug it in to my DENON home stereo and BAM rock the tunes hard! This had the firmware already updated to latest version as well, I wish i had more room to write more...the bottom line, i am SO please with this purchase. I will be purchasing more for my daughters, im very happy with it and i would recomend anyone buying this item over any ipod any day.

This player does the that and it's mobile

Was looking into a DAC player so I can hook it up to my existing system. This player does the that and it's mobile.

Great Music Player at an affordable price

Physical quality, look and design: Great! Similar quality as Apple or other great design company. 5 stars Ease of use: X1 menu are easier to navigate than 1st Gen X5. Take time to get use to the selected item is display at one location on the X5 v.s. highlighted item is selected at the individual stationary icons on X1. 3 stars Sound Quality: Able to drive most of my headphones - Sound less muffle than then the X1 - Need to do more A & B comparison with my desktop head phone amp but definitely acceptable. 4 stars Price: Refurbes price is good. 5 stars Others: Con: The uSD card covers are heard to open. Softer material would be better. But how often does the uSD card need to be remove? Con: Size and weight are a litte bit bigger and heavier than I expected. Con: The four rectangular buttons around the scroll wheels have no labels. Sometime, forget what their functions are. Pro: Love the mechanic scroll wheel - iPod 1st gen anyone? Pro: Protected sleeve included - Fiio is very generous on accessories for their product - such as sleeve, case skins, cable and screen protection sheet.... Overall: 4 stars product. 4.5 start for the product and price

Excellent Player

Excellent player. Best of all it only cost 30 bucks more than the x1 player if you can get this one on sale. Its a lot bigger and heavier than those old classic ipods but that is okay because the audio quality on these is a million times better. The built in amp is also capable of driving some higher impedance headphones. Highly recommend this player.

Great High res player does what it's supposed to

This is a great player for the money. Seems well built. Does what it's supposed to. It has several output features not found on regular players. Ability to have two microsd cards is great. The biggest thing is make sure that you have proper headphones to utilise this puppy. If you do, you'll see a world of difference on music that is properly ripped from your cd collection, or from the cloud music services offered today. You won't be dissapointed.
