This film has the richest black tones that I’ve seen. A wonderful film!

I needed a film for low light fine art situations. I wanted it to expose faster than Tri X or Tmax. This film does just that. It's physically thinner when I develop it than the other types which worried me, but no problems. Grain is practically non existent especially with D-76 1:1. It has its own look as far as tonal range and I add more contrast than usual. It works for me.

One of the best and easiest 100 ISO film I have ever worked with. It's just about impossible to screw-up with Acros. It works with just about any developer and grain and sharpness are all one could ask for.

my favorite ISO 100 B+W film, deep rich blacks, fine grain, prints beautifully.

In my experience this film responds similarly to Kodak's TMAX 100 in terms of speed, contrast and fine grain; but (importantly) it has no reciprocity considerations in occasional low light conditions I encounter in the field (i.e., in case shutter speeds might lengthen up to 1-2 minutes, which is WAY LONGER than needed under reasonable conditions). Of course, if you're shooting under low light, and with longer shutter speeds, you'd better be on a tripod. Therefore, I pack lots of ACROS in 120 size when I go off on photo road trips. ....JMO (Racine, WI)

Fine grain, better reciprocity characteristics than any other black and white film. My go-to film for any medium format camera that I put on a tripod.

This is a great film and has a great range and is also stable in the warmer climates. Shipping and stock is always good through Adorama and I find that the film i used 6 months ago behaves exactly the same as the film last week, with no processing differences.

I use this film for a sunny weather or for winter bright snow shots, I like how film shows itself - small grain, very good contrast, stable performance. I will by it again.

The low reciprocity factor makes this perfect for long exposures or pinhole pictures. It is my go to film.

This is a beautiful film for black and white photography. Its also rated for night photography. When handled correctly, it provides crisp clean lines and high contrast. I highly recommend it!

Outstanding sharpness, gain and latitude. If 100 speed works for you this is the film to use.

Always have gotten beautiful results with rodinal. Lately been trying my own mixture of D23 and love the midtones when printing. Great film!!

A great multi-purpose B&W film - little grain and a lot of flexibility. I generally develop with HC 110 and get great results, but even when sent to the lab I get great results. My #1 B&W film in 35mm and med format

Nearly absent grain in both 6x7 & especially 4x5 formats.. little to no reciprocity failure up to and slightly beyond 3 minutes but very user friendly on longer exposures. broad range of exposure Latitude (very Noob friendly) almost hard to screw up even if your a whole stop off. wide tonal range. beautiful deep textured blacks (this alone sold me over proofs against Delta 100 and TMX on a light table with a 10x Loupe) Ooh and It push / Pull processes well... Couldnt ask for more in a medium speed film really, but I would love a 65 or slower ISO Neopan film in 120 and 4x5 if I had to ask.

Great tones, fine grain. I've used this on my TLRs (Yasica-A and Rolleiflex MX-EVS) with superb results, from landscapes to portraits. I've heard than this film is thinner than its competitors, so if you do process it on your own you'll have to do so with care.
