WORKS GREAT

Was very disappointed with this purchase as Item arrived but was not complete with a battery and was very hard to find battery for item to operate. I would not recommend this item as it does not come with all the items needed to operate out the box.

Do Not Purchase

Neat concept, this Flashpoint 126 ... and in a relatively small package compared to the more exotic (and expensive) models I've seen.  The attached filters provide for a wide variety of light across the viewable spectrum and the light is evenly spread to minimize shadow effects.  Configured and priced for the casual user.

If you're looking for a portable means to light those EOS videos, it doesn't get much more convenient than this !

Spend More Money No Battery No Power Cord

I got this as a backup light in case it was too dark inside for a birthday party. The unit doesn't come with a battery and I suggest also buying a bracket as well. The light puts out a lot of bright light even on the lowest setting- which I liked the dial! A smaller light would have been fine for my purpose, but the Adorama special made it a no brainer buy. As mentioned on other reviews, the plastic attachment is the weakest point and the battery is heave, so don't position it sideways without supporting it or it will snap off. Kudos to Adorama for getting it out and to me during the Christmas rush in 2 days & free shipping!!!!

As advertised the light provided by this  is adequate for DSLR use. Before buying however do invest in your favorite rechargeable battery company. This piece of equipment was designed with battery consumption in mind

Sufficient light for most occasions

I really haven't had an opportunity to put this product to the test. But it seems to have good build quality and reallt throws a good amount of light. The real proof will be in the photo results.
